Acceptible Use Policy (AUP)
Please familiarize yourself with this AUP, as by using ZubZego products and services you are bound by it. If you are considering ZubZego as a hosting provider, please make sure your intended uses of our service comply with this policy.
1. Scope. This Acceptible Use Policy (AUP) governs the usage of the products and services provided by ZubZego. It supplements our web hosting terms of use (WHTOS), and you agree that by using or accessing ZubZego services the terms and conditions of this policy will be met. ZubZego may alter, modify or update this policy without notice.
2. Purpose. This Policy applies to each Client, including their employees, partners, clients, authorized contacts, and anyone else utilizing the services provided by ZubZego (each such person being a "User"). All Users are required to comply with this Policy to enhance the quality of the Services and to protect ZubZego's Clients, and the Internet community as a whole, from illegal, irresponsible, or disruptive activities. Each User should use common sense and good judgment in connection with the Services.
Overview
In order to ensure and maintain a high-class, secure hosting environment, we have a few ground rules and standards. These are some of the activities which may prompt suspension of your service:
- User is knowingly or unknowingly hosting pornographic videos or photographs.
- Copyrighted media such as music or videos are found to be distributed without the copyright owner's consent.
- A site set up to function as an open http proxy.
- Illegal or un-licensed software or 'warez' download sites.
- Large amounts of unsoclicited email (SPAM) are sent using a customer's SMTP service or mail script.
- An unusual spike in user's resource usage resulting in the account outstripping allocated resources.
- A hacked script or otherwise compromised site is discovered.
Under some of the above example scenarios, to protect the client, ZubZego may suspend site(s) and/or the client account until we have contacted you to determine whether the issue is legitimate or a breach of our terms.
Web, FTP, Publishing Content Policies
ZubZego does not allow any of the following content, or links to such content, to be published on ZubZego's Hosting Systems:
- Content of a pornographic, sexually explicit, or violent nature.
- Content of an illegal nature (including stolen copyrighted material).
- Pirated software sites.
- "Hate sites" or content that could be reasonably considered as slanderous or libelous.
Customers posting any of the above content on their sites will be notified via their primary email address on file, and will given a 48 hour grace period to make any corrective actions. If no corrective actions are taken, ZubZego will suspend the services of the hosting account until a resolution is met between ZubZego and Customer. A repeated violation of this Policy may cause cancellation of service without refund of any fees.
ZubZego offers generous amounts of storage space and network bandwidth. Users are not permitted to knowingly allow another website or hosting server to link to content files stored on ZubZego's servers. Users may not use their ZubZego hosting account solely as a remote storage server. At least 80% of content and media files held on a users hosting account with ZubZego must be linked to from associated PHP or HTML files.
Email Usage Policies
ZubZego does not allow unsolicited email messages (also known as SPAM) to be sent by our users. Users sending unsolicited email messages from our system, or through other systems with messages referencing their website, will have all of their services temporarily suspended. They will then be contacted by ZubZego and informed of the suspension before having their services reinstated. A repeated violation may cause cancellation of service.
Illegal Activities
Customers found using our systems for illegal activities, including but not limited to breaking in to remote systems, credit card fraud, theft, vandalism, threats, or violence, will have their accounts immediately canceled without refund of any fees.
Hostnames and IP Addresses
ZubZego is, and will remain the sole owner of all IP network addresses within the ZubZego network. Users shall not knowingly modify any TCP/IP configuration that will conflict, or otherwise disrupt network service by using configurations not allocated to the user/client by ZubZego. ZubZego will endavour to maintain the IP address allocated to client's account/domains, however ZubZego reserves the right to change client's underlying IP network address during upgrades, security provisioning, or any other network migration service.
Should we cancel any account as a result of violation of any of the above terms, no fees shall be refundable to client, and any money-back-guarantee shall be void. Should we suspend an account for breach of this AUP and not receive a response from our emails to the client within 30 days, we reserve the right to cancel the clients account.
